Keith Urban Crashes Tiny Nashville Venue With Free Show
In Nashville you’re just as likely to see Keith Urban at the grocery store as you are playing a free pop-up gig at a local music dive, which is exactly what happened last week.
The superstar cleverly revealed his plans to play The Basement, an intimate and storied Nashville music venue, with a video posted to Twitter allowing astute fans to figure out what was going on pretty quickly.

Keith showed up to the venue with his guitar that night, performing “Days Go By,” “Long Hot Summer,” “You Look Good in My Shirt,” “Break on Me,” “Somewhere in My Car,” “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and many more. About 150 people were in the audience, and a handful of performances from the impromptu event can be found on YouTube. Watch his rendition of 2002’s “Raining On Sunday” below.
