Brent Faiyaz’s Wasteland has arrived. The 19-track LP features three previously released tracks “Price of Fame,” the Drake-assisted track “Wasting Time” produced by the legendary Neptunes and the Tyler, The Creator, and DJ Dahi collab track “Gravity.” Other guest appearances on the album are Alicia Keys (“Ghetto Gatsby”), Joony (“FYTB”), and Tre’ Amani (“Addictions”). Included in the 19 tracks are various skits that show off the musician’s ability to utilize different storytelling techniques to get his message across and more insight into the songs that follow.
Wasteland follows his 2020 LP F— The World. He has also since been featured on Tems’ “Found” from her 2021 EP If Orange Was A Place, Meek Mill’s “Halo” off of Expensive Pain, and “Lost Souls” from Baby Keem’s The Melodic Blue.
