In October of 2019, veteran rapper Lil Kim received the highest honor at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. She was honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop” award for her contributions to the culture and genre.

The Queen Bee also dropped her new highly-anticipated studio album, 9, which was the Brooklyn rapper’s first released in 14 years. 9 serves as the follow up to Lil Kim’s 2005 album Naked Truth.
