Last night’s (11/10) 55th Annual CMA Awards was one for the books:  from Katy Perry and Lionel Richie joining Luke Bryan on stage to help out hosting, to the amazing performances of Chris Stapleton, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Shelton, and Luke Combs. It was a night to remember.

It was also a first for a couple of superstars including Luke Combs, who won the “Entertainer of the Year” honor for the first time, and Carly Pearce, who scored the “Female Vocalist” honor for her first time. Jimmie Allen also won his first CMA Award in the New Artist category.

And what a huge night for Chris Stapleton, who took home four awards including Album of the Year for Starting Over.
