Georgia Hotel Is Among The Best New Spring Spots
Spring break is officially behind us for the year, and for some cities it was a chance to showcase new establishments. Fifty Grande recently detailed the best new hotels this spring, and a Georgia hotel made the list.
“The hottest new American hotels of spring are ready to make your summer getaway actually happen,” they explain.
As someone who has often traveled during the spring, I believe certain hotel qualities seem to be of the utmost importance for this particular season. Of course, where you are going factors into deciding where to stay, but I tend to always search for the highest-value hotel experience rather than simply the cheapest.
For example, on a recent trip when the kids were out of school, we opted for a larger hotel with more capacity. Given that they were not sold out, there was the possibility of more quiet floors. In addition, it had an indoor pool and sprawling breakfast buffet that came with the nightly reservation.
There were more expensive and newer hotel options closer to the main attractions, and there were also cheaper nightly options where meals were not included.
Looking at the overall plan for the trip helped decide which hotel would be the most accommodating. With all sorts of new hotels opening across the country, having options provides the opportunity to have choices. Furthermore, it’s a great sign about the state of the travel industry.
There are certainly those who explore adventures and specifically seek a new hotel to stay at. Whether it’s due to cleanliness or being an enthusiast of the hotel type, there is a thrill to staying in a newly opened hotel. In Georgia, the place that made the list has a pool deck you may never want to leave.
Hotel Bardo In Savannah Is The Georgia Hotel Recognized
Located at 700 Drayton Street in Savannah, Hotel Bardo describes itself as “equal parts urban resort and neighborhood clubhouse.”
Fifty Grande describes the hotel’s unique look by saying, “The stately redbrick mansion exudes old-world luxury, though the interior skews more Lowcountry pastel than deep brass and dark woods.” Each room, which comes in a standard, suite, or premium suite option, has a luxury feel.
Currently, rooms start at $335 per night.
Inside the hotel, you will also find Club Bardo. This is a “social club inspired by the grand tradition of the early 20th-century salon—where locals and guests connect and share stories.” If being outdoors is more your style, the on-site pool is filled with cabanas and poolside service, so you can completely disconnect in the most relaxing setting.
