What started as a celebration quickly turned into a horror story. A tech CEO in India fell to his death during elaborate entrance to company party.
The CEO fell 15 feet out of a cage and plunged to his death. The whole thing was captured on video.

Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah and Vistex President Vishwanath Raju Datla were inside an iron cage that was being lowered onto a stage as a part of their grand entrance to a company party, according to the Times Of India.
In the video, you can see what appears to be the entire company watching as these VIPs carry out their elaborate entrance to the party. There’s music playing and cause for celebration. Then, it happens.
You see the cage they’re in flip over and the two men fall out of the cage. Plummeting 15 feet down. That’s equivalent to falling off a one-story building!
During the video, you can see one of the man fall head first to the ground. According to the New York Post, Shah was killed in the accident and Datla was left in critical condition.
Investigators are now looking into the matter. The pair of men were in India to celebrate Vistex Asia’s silver jubilee, per The New York Post.

Seems like a bit of Icarus effect. He flew too close to the sun. Did you really need an elaborate entrance inside a cage? I don’t think it’d be down with that. Surely, I’d look at the thing and be like, “no, I’m not getting in that.”
Walking out on stage is just fine with me! I don’t need a special entrance, or anything.
