Dierks Goes Undercover Again, Surprises Fans As “Dirty Doug”
Dierks Bentley has gone undercover to embrace his musical alter ego yet again.
The “Black” singer appeared with his buddies as part of a “local” bluegrass band – the Michigan Mule Ticks – as the crowd gathered for the Faster Horses festival in Brooklyn, Michigan Friday (7/21).
Using the alias “Dirty Doug,” M Live reports that the incognito superstar performed three songs with the group as another band set up on stage. (That’s Dierks below in red, by the way.) He revealed his true identity as he left the stage, much to the crowd’s delight. Dierks went undercover to play bluegrass tunes for gathering crowds last month at stops in Pennsylvania and Florida, among others.
