Luke Combs Will Perform At 2024 GRAMMYs
Luke Combs has just been announced as a performer at the GRAMMYS. The award show will air, live, on CBS on February 4, 2024. Luke posted the performer graphic on his Insta Stories this morning. Combs will be performing on the show for the second year in a row.
Combs is a 2024 GRAMMY nominee for Best Country Solo Performance for “Fast Car,” a song that won both Song and Single awards at the November CMA Awards.
Last year (2023), Luke was nominated for Best Country Album for Growin’ Up. He also was nominated for Best Country Song for “Doin’ This,” and Best Group / Duo Performance for his duet with Miranda Lambert, “Outrunnin’ Your Memory.”
Combs said of his nominations at the time, “Getting these Grammy nominations is awesome, you know? You know they don’t come around too often. And so, you know, having the opportunity to be thought of when that time comes is pretty unique and is always, always awesome. ”
Luke was nominated for the all-genre Best New Artist GRAMMY in 2019. And he was nominated for a GRAMMY in 2020 in the Best Country Duo / Group Performance for his collaboration with Brooks & Dunn, a remake of their song “Brand New Man.” He has yet to win.
Combs took his son Tex out in the snow after Nashville got eight inches of snow last week with temperatures in the teens. Luke posted a sweet video on his Insta Stories of himself and Tex bundled up and venturing into the powder-white snow.
The video starts with Tex heading out of what looks like the family’s back door into several inches of snow. Tex is bundled up in black snow pants and a black and gray winter coat with a hood. As he steps out, he says, “No.” He stumps in the snow, and his parents giggle. Combs wrote over the clip, “His little voice.” In a second video clip, Luke holds Tex’s hand and tells him to take big steps as the family dog, JoJo, approaches the boy.
Combs then shared a video clip of a river covered in snow as the snow falls on their property west of Nashville and then a photo of a deer in the snow.
